The Object of the association shall be to broaden the social life of its members and the colony known as Mattapoisett Shores Assocation at Mattapoisett Neck in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts and to direct and assist in instituting and maintaining improvements and facilities for the enjoyment of its members.

Our History
Originally established as Grande Vue Beach Association, Inc. on July 19th, 1959, the Articles of Organization state that "The object of the association shall be to broaden the social life of its members and the colony known as Grande Vue Beach at Mattapoisett Neck in Mattapoisett, Mass., and to direct and assist in instituting and maintaining improvements and facilities for the enjoyment of its members." This continues to be our objective.

The name was changed to Mattapoisett Shores Association, Inc. on July 24th, 1971.
